Uncle Chico Newsletter # 182
Still about the Andrea and Jacob Blumen Couple and their incredible facebook posts…
This time about Mrs. Blumen post to Mrs. Mariza Kanap
Still in the expectation that Andrea and Jacob Blumen comment my articles…
Important introductory note: I would like to inform everyone that this article
was first sent in Portuguese to Mrs. Andrea Blumen’s e-mail, then to Mr.
Mariza Kanap`s email and after to the CBKC + FCI directors and leaders
My dear friends from Fila Brasileiro (FB),
I initially report that Blumen Couple has not yet commented on my two posts
https://filabrasileirochicopeltierblog.wordpress.com/2016/02/29/post-n-342-tio-chico-informa-no-131-sobre-a-importancia-de-pedrinho-do-engenho-como-precursor-na-criacao-do-fila-brasileiro-enviado-em-290216-2/ where, once again, I totally disagree with what they wrote and posted about the FB.
Evidently the Blumen Couple is not obliged to answer my thoughts totally different from theirs … However, I believe that when the Blumen Couple defends publicly via facebook such controversial theses, including in an always cunning and subliminal way in the extreme attempt to cover up the miscegenation that existed and still exists in the FB, as well as its main authors, I am convinced that the Blumen Couple should not flee from the frank and educated dialogue with Uncle Chico, who has always been politely and seriously but, mainly, constantly presenting numerous arguments, documents and photos that are vehemently contrary to the affirmations and theses written by Blumen Couple.
As far I am concern, the Blumen Couple and I started to breed FB in the same year, that is, in 1974, since each of us bought an Pure FB (or one of us just a “mestizo-fila“?) from the same (???) litter born in the Pampas Kennel, Rio de Janeiro. If I’m not mistaken, Mrs. Blumen breed Basset Hound before that, and Mr. Blumen had not yet breed any dog breed in an organized way, but she still had contacts in São Paulo precisely with the FB breeders, Mr. João Batista Gomes and Enio Monte, both residents of that city. That is, precisely with the two breeders who started the miscegenation in the Fila Brasileiro Breed !!!
The fact and enormous concrete difference between the Blumen Couple and I, is that by researching and studying I arrived at Dr. Paulo Santos Cruz, owner of the legendary and famous Parnapuan Kennel, Father of the Fila that would become CAFIB Master of Breeding. That is, I chose to drink in the knowledge source of the FB breeder who besides elaborating the first FB Standard, organized the FB as a Breed and projected it in Brazil and abroad. Moreover, at a younger age, Dr. Paulo had the habit of constantly visiting the interior of Brazil, especially the South of Minas Gerais, bringing copies of FB from those farms. I visited Dr. Paulo at his home in Santos in early 1976 and managed to persuade him to return to the FB world from which he had been away for many years. My strong argument for his return was the presentation of many convincing photos of “mestizos’ dogs who owns FB pedigrees issued by former BKC-FCI, since the FB already suffered that year the terrible effect of miscegenation, the invention of the so-called “black-fila” and the eminent closure of the Initial Register (*) in the former BKC. See many of these photos with a text in English in http://www.cao-filabrasileiro.com/#!__orga-ingles. Outraged and very conscious, Dr. Paulo returned to FB world, as magisterially documented by journalist Paulo Roberto Godinho in http://www.filabrasileirochicopeltier.com.br/4-Documentos-de-1975-e-1976/4-17.jpg .
(*) Initial Registration was the form that existed at BKC in the 1970s so that dogs from a particular breed who for any reason had no pedigree, could be examined at a BKC expo and, if approved, could have an initial pedigree issued by the BKC.
Unlike me, the Blumen Couple preferred to join Mr. João Batista Gomes of the Sete Barras Kennel, São Paulo, who believed that the FB should be cross-breed with dogs of the English Mastiff breed. And had already been crossed in those days by Mr. Gomes. The unacceptable is that Mr. João Batista Gomes did not publish his intention after initiate its own cross breeding, did not submit his ideas to other breeders, did not previously divulge what type of dog he intended to reach or what changes in the phenotype and temperament of the FB he intended to perform, did not consult the other breeders of FB of that time, did not request authorization to the former BKC. And even worse: Mr. Gomes did not control the dogs born from these spurious, criminal and illegal experiences and, utterly disastrous, he recorded these mestizos, mongrel and bastard dogs coming from the crossing of FB with English Mastiff in the BKC-FCI as if they were PURE Fila !!! That is, this experience – which as any experience in the word could go wrong, and did, – would never reach a positive, useful, and valid result since it was never properly controlled. That is: a complete mess, whose effects are so harmful in the FB until today.
I believe that any breeder or person can cross dogs of different breeds with each other. This is not illegal. What is illegal and criminal is to falsify pedigrees. It is pretending that mestizos, bastards and mongrel dogs are purebred Fila Brasileiro. This is simply falsifying and forging documents. And this is CRIME in any country. Including Belgium.
Remembering that as any apprentice or trainee knows, there will never be a serious, honest and productive experience without control !!! Mainly if falsification of documents, i.e. pedigrees, occurred.
And, even more catastrophic for the Fila Brasileiro: the mestizos, mongrels and bastards dogs that were born out of the type intended by Mr. João Batista Gomes – if this gentleman really wanted anything more than to invented a large and more docile dogs i.e., therefore, easier to sell and market – was not eliminated from their experiences and thus became part of the squad of mestizos and mongrel dogs, but who were bearers of pedigrees of Pure FBs issued by then BKC-FCI.
Conclusion # 1:
These mestizos of FBs crossed with English Mastiff became part of the BKC-FCI Pure FB squad, which encouraged Mr. Ibrahim Haddad Hercheu of the Bambarê Kennel from São Paulo to initiate the FB miscegenation with Neapolitan Mastiff and Mr. Procópio do Valle of the Kirimauá Kennel of Minas Gerais to invent the so-called “black-fila” crossbreeding the FB with Great Dane or German Dog in the black coloration. As we know Mr. Procópio do Valle is the Father of the “black-fila”.
Conclusion # 2:
This wide uncontrolled and unprepared miscegenation, mainly performed via pedigree falsification, has unfortunately given rise only to several heterogeneous types of pedigree dogs that received pedigree of Pure FB that were and are naively issued by the notary trio BKC-CBKC-FCI. They are the mestizos and mongrels dogs nicknamed pejoratively as “masttiff-fila, neapolitan-fila, black-fila, stocky-fila, toy-fila, pet-fila, giant-fila, roitt-fila, bloodhound-fila, docile-fila, hairy-fila, heavy loaded-fila, filamarquês,, genetic salad fila” and even the “freak-fila”.
On this subject I strongly suggest you to read the masterful article of Dr. Paulo published in the newspaper O Fila, edited by the journalist, founder, leader and judge of CAFIB, Mr. Luiz Maciel, in http://www.filabrasileirochicopeltier.com.br/8-Documentos-de-1978/8_30/materia.html or http://www.cafibbrasil.com/ofila.html
Conclusion # 3:
After more than 45 years of the beginning of this terrible, inconsequent and uncontrolled miscegenation, the Blumen Couple and all those who chose to follow these first cross breeders mentioned above along with:
– the FB breeders who preferred to breed and defend the “mestizo-fila” and thus remained in the former BKC-FCI, and from 1979 on CBKC-FCI;
– the NAM`s (Neo Apologists of Miscegenation) who still today defend and breed the “mestizo-fila“;
– the naive and docile breeders of these three clubs who are actually breeders of FB but breed only without major commitments and without any concern for the necessary preservation of the Pure Fila;
– the breeders who know about the whole True History of the FB Breed and their miscegenation, but are afraid to expose themselves and make their contribution to the preservation of the Pure Fila;
… have not yet been able to reach a type of dog that can be called FB and that has a unique and homogenous type of its own as all other canine breeds in the world, according to more than 700 photos published on my website and blog. See among many other articles this two in English:
http://www.filabrasileirochicopeltier.com.br/fila-brasileiro/index.html and https://filabrasileirochicopeltierblog.wordpress.com/2016/10/01/post-n-409-perguntem-ao-tio-chico-no-144-ask-uncle-chico-144-tio-chico-que-racas-caninas-sao-estas-no-12-uncle-chico-which-dog-breeds-are-these-12-da/ which undoubtedly prove what I am writing and posting here.
Important note: I would like to point out that, as I have always written, there are serious breeders in the CBKC-FCI who breed – usual and partially in their kennels – Typical FBs. Often they are FBs that have their origin in the CAFIB kennels… with their pedigrees falsified and or not … Unfortunately, their number is extremely smaller than that of the “cross-breed” existing in these two clubs. Therefore, even though this group of breeders – still undecided to join CAFIB – who remain within the scope of the CBKC-FCI System – clubs that aim for the profit and not the improvement of the FB – will never be able to arrive at a reasonably correct type of FB in typicality and on a large scale. Because they will always be supplanted by the innumerable “mestizos-filas” existing in the squad of these two clubs. That is why I affirm for many years: THERE IS ANY FUTURE IN THE BREEDING OF THE PURE FB IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE DETERIORATION AND DECOMPOSITION OF THE CBKC-FCI SYSTEM, as far as the FB Breed is concerned.
Check what I post here in English at https://filabrasileirochicopeltierblog.wordpress.com/2013/11/25/post-no-143-uncle-chico-newsletter-54-photos-of-56-typical-cbkc-filas-sent-nov-22nd-2-013/ and
Conclusion # 4:
As a natural reaction, this uncontrolled, illegal and criminal miscegenation gave rise to the CAFIB, a club that brought together from 1978 onwards the breeders who were real and vehemently against this miscegenation and, consequently, in favor of the rescue from the extinction and the preservation of the Pure FB. As everyone knows, but some pretend not to know, CAFIB was the sole responsible club for the rescue and for having saved the Fila Brasileiro Breed from extinction !!! For this reason it is known: THE FILA BRASILEIRO ONLY EXISTS TODAY BECAUSE CAFIB´s WORK !!!

Well, my friends, I now start to comment and disagree with my arguments and in a politely way from the last post of Mrs. Andrea Blumen, dated Feb, 10th-2017. But I will comment only on the issues that I consider to be important for the FB. So, the recent punishment on Mrs. Marisa Kanap do not concern me and I consider it to be totally insignificant and scandalous as regards the serious breeding of the FB. All I have to do is ask my readers: what is the moral of the CBKC to punish Ms. Kanap only because she has listened quietly and politely – without agreeing or disagreeing – the opening speech of an Argentine expo, given by the president of the Argentine FB Club; if for more than 45 years the CBKC-FCI registers, issued and sells pedigrees that they emits without any inspection and control for any big dog as if they were PURE Fila Brasileiro? After all, what notary company is this that does not take responsibility for the documents that certify, sign, stamp, append the traditional 100 year FCI seal and make money by SELLING such dogs as FBs? I do not know … But this punishment seems to me like a pure pursuit against Mrs. Kanap… Or there are something more serious in this story… But I can say that in my time as a membership of the BKC (1974, 1975 and 1976) all these divergences between breeders were restricted about making games and agreements to win expos and prizes or the traditional dispute for selling puppies…
After all, which procedure above do you think deserves greater and more severe punishment? Ms. Kanap’s or the CBKC-FCI’s?
Concluding, when the CBKC will stop punishing minor glitches like this one eventually committed by Mrs. Kanap and will in fact begin to annul and revoke pedigrees, awards, great champion titles and, most importantly, “cross-breeders” like the so-called todays NAM`s (Neo Apologists of Miscegenation) ? When will the Conselho de Árbitros do CBKC (= Council of Arbitrators or Judges of the CBKC), in the person of its president, Mr. Ricardo Torre Simões, begin to rigorously punish its “judges” who affirm that the FB constitutes only a handful of mestizos, mongrels and bastards dogs and, therefore, should not have been registered with the BKC-CBKC-FCI since 1968? When will the CBKC-FCI apologize to the dog world and dog-fancying for so many misdeeds, debacles and serious INSTITUTIONAL AND PERMANENT mistakes made against the Fila Brasileiro purebred dog ? When will FCI finally split the Fila Brasileiro in two breeds as they have done in the recent past with great success in the Akita Breed originally from Japan that also went through a great miscegenation crises during World War II? When will CBKC-FCI recognize that without the work of CAFIB the PURE FB would no longer exist?
Just for this terrible and uncontrolled situations done by BKC-CBKC and the total disinterest and responsibility of the FCI that the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture in April, 28th.-19980 determined that CAFIB would be the only club in Brazil responsible for controlling and registering the FB. See more details on http://www.filabrasileirochicopeltier.com.br/13.html
The rest, my dears friends, is talk to fools.
But Uncle Chico is not a fool and was never a fool…
In 1975 I began to visit the BKC just few blocks away from my office, in those days presided by Henrique Pereira de Lucena, informing of what was happening in the FB miscegenation in Brazil and in 1976 already proposed to Dr. Paulo Santos Cruz to organize a group of serious and independent breeders of the former BKC and FCI to save the FB from extinction. Please see http://www.filabrasileirochicopeltier.com.br/4-Documentos-de-1975-e-1976/4_29/materia.html .
Well, let’s go commenting Mrs. Blumen last post:
Ms. Blumen posted:
“The Fila Brasileiro breed is a national genetic heritage, originated from the miscegenation of several breeds that arrived here (in Brazil) under different conditions and times. (Perhaps because Mrs. Blumen chose not to inform this date, does it prove that in the early 1970s the two English Mastiffs mentioned in the letter above signed by KCP are computed in this great miscegenation?) It is not Pure, it has never been and never will be (pure) while breeders are not convinced of this reality and the importance of a serious work still to be carried out by the morphological fixation of reasonably similar types, low of technical and scientific criteria.”
Comments by Uncle Chico:
Initially, and only initially, I agree: yes, the FB comes from the crossing of other breeds. But many and many years ago, and this fact was not mentioned by Mrs. Blumen… But this affirmation is evident — as countless other purebred dogs that exist throughout the world. And I add: the breeds that gave origin to the FB no one will ever be able to specify which were. But I totally disagree with the conclusion of Mrs. Blumen in denying that the FB is not a Pure Breed. If Mrs. Blumen was right, many other world-renowned dog breeds, which also emerged as a result of miscegenation or crossbreeding with other breeds, would not be considered Pure Breeds, since they arose precisely from the crossbreeding of these various and different breeds.
Below are several examples of purebreds that were formed from the crossing with other breeds and that, after long years of selection, control and serious work and without pedigree falsification, started to form a homogeneous and distinct group of the same species / dogs forming a single dog population recognized and recognizable:
– Rottweilers: descended from Roman dogs immigrated with the Roman legions through the Alps, until arriving in the outskirts of the German city of Rottweil, where they were crossed with dogs from that region:
– German Shepherd: descendant of several types of shepherd dogs mainly from the Northwest of this European country maybe crossed with wolves of the region:
– Weimaraner: their ancestors include Bloodhound, Red Schweisshund, old Pointers breeds and the German short-haired Braco;
– Dobermann: descendant of German Pinscher, German Shepherds, English Greyhounds, Manchester Terriers, Weimaraner and Rottweilers;
– Boxer: which has its origin in the distant and extinct Brabant Bullenbeisser crossed with other German dog types;
– Bullmastiff: generated from the Old English Mastiff selectively crossed with the Old Bulldog.
– And, finally, I confirm my thoughts with our beloved Dogo Argentino, which is a result of the crossing of 10 other breeds: Dog Fighter of Córdoba, Pointer, Boxer, German Dogue, Bull Terrier, Bulldog, Irish Wolfhound, Dogue de Bordeaux, Pyrenean and English Mastiff. Well, my friends, being the Dogo Argentino coming from 10 other breeds, probably Mrs. Blumen will understand that this dog will not be considered purebred dog before the year 5,000…
Why are these purebreeds dogs mentioned above and many others originated from cross breeds with other breeds are considered purebreds in the dog world and in all clubs worldwide and the FB is considered by Ms. Blumen as a simple mestizo, mongrel and bastard ?
Well, it may be that Ms. Blumen is referring only to the “mestizo-“fila” breed at the CBKC-FCI that really, as everyone knows, has several heterogeneous types, which would be unacceptable in a serious and honest club… In such case we could understand and even agree with this placement done by Ms. Blumen… But at CAFIB, everyone knows that the FB is synonymous of homogeneity, racial purity and purebred dog... Anyone who knows a little of the True History of the FB does not accept that the work and the CAFIB Breeding Philosophy is leveled underneath, in this great disorganization and falsification of pedigrees that prevails in the FB registered in the CBKC-FCI.
As we see, in the same way that Mr. Jacob Blumen was a follower of Mr. João Batista Gomes, who was an adept of the FB miscegenation with the English Mastiff, it seems to me that Mrs. Blumen is a follower of the theses of the CBKC-FCI judge, Mr. Alexandre Bacci, who has insisting and posting for several years that FB is not a purebreed but just a group of mestizos and mongrels dogs. Okay, but only if it’s in the CBKC-FCI System. Not at the CAFIB-Fila…
That is: I understand that since Mrs. Blumen and Mr. Alexandre Bacci are not able to breed the Pure Fila, they try to justify themselves by taxing all the FB as mestizos dogs… What a shame !!!
See below one of the postings of the absurd theory preached by the CBKC-FCI judge, Mr. Alexandre Bacci, who has had this post dozens of times criticized by me, by the breeder Mr. Fabio Pereira Bueno Filho and many others:
Note: please to read dozens of post in my blog about this absurd done by CBKC-FCI judge, Mr. Alexandre Bacci, just type in “search” his name.
That is, according to the theory of Mr. Bacci and Mrs. Blumen almost 50 years ago the FCI has been issuing pedigrees and falsely attesting racial purity to dogs of the breed – Fila Brasileiro — that does not even exist… for this two FCI judges… And FCI is earning a lot of money from this fraud for decades, using its legal representative in Brazil, initially BKC and since 1979, CBKC. Actually, I wonder where the absent-minded Mr. Ricardo Torre Simões chairman of the Conselho de Árbitros do CBKC (= Council of Arbitrators or Judges of the CBKC), from whom I only listen several compliments, does not severely punish these two FCI-CBKC judges expelling them from the Brazilian dog-fancying and FB world ?
This statement by Mr. Bacci and Mrs. Blumen is one of the major “Freudian slip” (i.e., parapraxis ), since it therefore becomes one of the most important proofs of the cross breeding and miscegenation existing in the FB controlled and registered only by BKC-CBKC-FCI Notary System. But not at CAFIB Pure Fila breeding.
I agree, however, with Mrs. Blumen when she states that in the exclusive sphere of the notaries clubs CBKC-FCI the FB “… was never and never will be …” purebred dog. But she completely and unacceptably forgets that the FB was a purebred dog in the BKC, before the miscegenation and became a purebred dog in the CAFIB after many years of serious work, without the famous pedigree falsification, with a lot of serious work and technical and historical knowledge.
What the followers of the early cross breeders like the Blumen Couple and the NAM’s ( Neo Apologists of the Miscegenation) insist on not accepting is that miscegenation was a doomed experiment because it was based on PEDIGREE’S FALSIFICATION and no breeder and any experiment will be considered serious and will reach any positive result falsifying pedigrees or documents !!!
My friends, this statement from Mrs. Blumen above – “… (the FB Breed) is not Pure (breed dog), never was and never will be…” is the greatest attestation of the total incapacity of the CBKC-FCI FB breeders as well as of their leaders and judges, since, after a long period of 45 years, it attests and proves irrefutably that they were not competent to achieve any definite type of FB, nor even a single type of “cross-breed-fila” within the scope of CBKC-FCI !!! It is an enormous shame !!!
That`s why I am proposing the creation of the Mastim Brasileiro (Brazilian Mastim) breed. See my proposal in English at http://www.filabrasileirochicopeltier.com.br/novos/pergunte_chico_3/materia_eng.html
So, congratulations to Mrs. Blumen for your vehement statement proving such CBKC and FCI total incapacity.
Ms. Blumen posted:
“Remembering that when she (FB) was recognized as a Breed by the FCI, it was a timely opportune act (instead, I think the correct world applicable by Mrs. Blumen should be “opportunist” ) and essentially political, we (a Brazilian) presided over the entity, but we (Brazil) did not have a quantitative and qualitative squad to justify it, fact to be considered on other occasions.”
Comments by Uncle Chico:
Curious, very curious: it means that it took Ms. Blumen more than 45 years for the first time to try to draw this new explanation that does not justify in any way the numerous amount of heterogeneous types of FB pedigree dogs issued by the CBKC-FCI System, due only to uncontrolled cross breeding and based on the pedigree falsification designed by Mr. João Batista Gomes… But for Mrs. Blumen, the blame for the miscegenation now falls only under the shoulders of Dr. Antônio Barone Forzano, a Brazilian who when he was president of FCI in 1968 – thus almost a decade before miscegenation – obtained the international recognition for the FB purebred dog in the FCI. Note: with the tacit and correct acceptance of the FCI !!! My God, how much injustice !!! It’s worth everything to justify the unjustifiable miscegenation perpetrated against the FB by her mentor, Mr. João Batista Gomes, and his followers… For me and the serious breeders, regardless clubs, we thank forever Mr. Forzano for his achievement.
Note added in this English version: I would never smear, mess or complain about one of the few good things done by the former BKC and FCI in favor of the FB. Remembering that more recently Mr. Sergio de Castro, CBKC’s eternal president, sponsored and published the almost 450 pages book of FCI judge, handler and famous journalist Paulo Godinho about de FB, that proves the miscegenation, recognizes the excellent work done by CAFIB and also preaches the Fila Race division in two! Like Uncle Chico !!! And my readers should know that, Mr. Rafael de Santiago, president of FCI , acquired this book !!! Did Mr. Santiago read this book or it is just decorating his bookcase ???
Ms. Blumen posted:
“In the zootechnical reality of the constitution of the type of Fila, dominant genetics will prevail and this is massively composed of molosso and the results of the progeny of these, against facts do not survive arguments, except for the usual ones.” [ Note: bacause I did not understood this paragraph I write it also in Portuguese exactly as posted by Mrs. Blumen, so my readers can make their owns research: “Na realidade zootécnica da constituição do tipo do Fila haverá de prevalecer a genética dominante e esta massivamente é constituída de molossos e dos resultados da progênie destes, contra fatos não sobrevivem argumentos, salvo para os de sempre.”]
I must confess that I do not understand what Mrs. Blumen intended to assert above, but I am absolutely certain that it does not justify in any way the uncontrolled miscegenation that has produced so many cross breed “mestizos-filas” – still extant today after 45 years in the trio BKC-CBKC-FCI. CAFIB in much less time rescued the FB from extinction and formed its squad of Pure and homogeneous FBs.
I would like to ask Mrs. Blumen, if I have understood at least a bit of her above post: — But what molossos, Mrs. Blumen, if no one knows what breeds have in fact contributed for the formation of the FB?
Ms. Blumen posted:
“… Pure Filas that have just fallen from Heaven in Minas Gerais.”
Comments by Uncle Chico:
I’m sorry if many people who visit museums do not know how to appreciate and recognize a true work of art when they are in front of them. Unfortunately, the number of people who, when facing a masterpiece, defines it as just as a blur, a misshapen or senseless figure…
Here are some of the works of art to which I refer, which worth millions of dollars:
The very famous Brazilian oil painting named Abaporu, by the Brazilian Tarsila do Amaral, as well as the famous flags by the Brazilian painter Alfredo Volpi, would be considered by the cross breeders only as deformed and senseless figures… Poor people … How silly … How much lack of preparation and knowledge…
Well, Mr. Jacob Blumen stated that he visited the South of Minas Gerais in the late 1970s in search of Pure Fila of good typicity. Okay, let’s believe he really made this trip in the past. The fact is that upon returning, Mr. Blumen stated that there were no good quality FBs in that region. Of course, saying so, he intended to valued much more the ”mestizos-filas” with pedigree issued by BKC-FCI manufactured by Mr. Gomes as evidenced by the above newspaper O Estado de São Paulo article… Mr. Blumen and the first cross breeders were against the FBs that existed in the Brazilian interior and farms without pedigree. That’s exactly why Mr. Blumen was convincing Henrique Pedreira de Lucena, former president of the BKC and after the CBKC, to close the Initial Registry … See more details in http://www.filabrasileirochicopeltier.com.br/5-Registro-Inicial-FILA-BRASILEIRO/5-1.jpg and http://www.filabrasileirochicopeltier.com.br/5-Registro-Inicial-FILA-BRASILEIRO/5_5/materia.html .
Well, the CAFIB board visited the South of Minas Gerais at the same time and several times later and, unlike Mr. Blumen, besides supporting the opening of the Initial Registry, had the technical and historical capacity and knowledge to see in those FBs the genetic potential that the CAFIB needed to start recovering from extinction, along with other typical copies, the Fila Brasileiro Breed.
Talking another day with the founder, judge, director and columnist of CAFIB, Américo Cardoso, he told me: “Chico, there were several incursions into the interior of Brazil carried out by CAFIB. Most of them were attended by Dr. Paulo, Airton Campbell, Luiz Maciel, Roberto Maruyama, Pedro Borotti and I. In the South of Minas Gerais we found many dogs of poor quality, even crossed with mutts. But when one has technical knowledge and an accurate view of what is in fact a Fila Brasileiro, such person is able to collect specimens and select them, in order to carry out a methodical work of genetic selection, using the good existent bloodlines for the rescue and enhancement of FB, as well as to preserve these blood lines that were used by CAFIB.” So I mean: who knows, knows. Who does not know, is not able to identify some good FB specimens or thinks that it is only in front of dogs that are “deformed and senseless figures” as exemplified in the tables above…
That is, while the CAFIB people went to the interior of Brazil, in addition to the South of Minas Gerais, to look for FBs with typicality and genetic potential to help in the initiation of the formation of CAFIB squad, Mr. Blumen preferred to deny the Pure FB that existed in the interior of Brazil and opted for the mistaken shortcut to cross breeding the FB with English Mastiff, within the planning unfortunately poorly idealized and worse executed by Mr. João Batista Gomes, who came to open the doors for the miscegenation of the FB with Mastin Napolitano and black Great Dane !!!
And then my dear reader, what do you prefer?
Base your squad on Pure FBs that inhabit the interior of Brazil for centuries or mix the FB with foreign breeds ?
Look at the hard start of CAFIB’s work in
Please see below the FBs that the CAFIB people found in the South of Minas Gerais and in other Brazilian interiors and farms:
Therefore, much to the contrary of what Mrs. Blumen posted, Pure Filas did not fall from the skies in the South of Minas Gerais. The CAFIB leaders with determination and knowledge were able to correctly evaluate these genetically typical specimens that were also used to rescue the FB Breed. Meanwhile Mr. Blumen was doing a lot of politics at BKC headquarters in Rio de Janeiro and ended up closing the Initial Registration that had existed for years at this club. Conclusion: Mr. Blumen intentionally devalued the Pure FB that exist without registration in the interior of Brazil and in many capitals, since few breeders at that time registered their dogs in the BKC and immediately super valued the “mestizos-filas” born of crosses between FB and English Mastiff and other breeds, that were marketed at very good price in those years…
Ms. Blumen posted:
“There are solutions, I hope today to correct a mistake made by us in the 70s and 80s when we attributed the “responsibilities” for the breed (FB) only” to Clubs.”
Comments by Uncle Chico:
If I understood correctly, Mrs. Blumen, after blaming Mr. Barone above, now she blames the miscegenation and the enormous amount of heterogeneous types of “mestizos-filas” that exist in the CBKC-FCI System, since after 45 years they have not been able to form any recognized dog type and immediately identified as a Pure Fila, in this paragraph Mr. Blumen blames all the unsuspecting breeders of these two clubs who inadvertently bought dogs in good Faith and believing in the correction and seriousness of the pedigree of the CBKC-FCI that they claimed to be Pure Filas… As indeed happens in any country in the world … But I still blame for this terrible heterogeneity: the first cross breeders, their first disciples and followers as Blumen Couple, the NAM`s who until now cross bred the FB and all the leaders of the nefarious notary trio BKC- CBKC-FCI.
Another important point: if these mistakes were made in the 1970s and 1980s, why since 1990, that is, 26 years ago, why has not Mrs. Blumen made her contribution to solve them definitively ? Why she blame all CBKC-FCI breeders from her mistakes ?
In fact, pure illusion of those who think the CBKC and FCI are interested in the FB. Do not give a shit. The prove: FCI do not punished neither Mr. Bacci nor Mrs. Blumen who post in the facebooks that FCI issue thousands of pedigrees for a mestizo, bastard and mongrel dog, making huge amount of money as if they were PURE Filas. And worse: disrespecting FCI own Statutes !!!
My dear friends open your eyes: FCI and CBKC are interested in increasing their billing and maintaining their advantages for their directors, leaders and judges…
So, finally, at the end of my comments on this paragraph about Mrs. Blumen post, I have to ask my readers: you would say then that CAFIB breeds preserves the so-called PURE Fila Brasileiro, while Mr. Alexandre Bacci, the Blumen Couple and CBKC-FCI prefer the Mestizo Fila Brasileiro? I think this is a perfect definition… Done by them…
Please see below some photos of Pure FBs breed by CAFIB and compare with the dogs preferred by the Blumen Couple and Mr. Bacci that are bellower:
PURE FB breed and registered at CAFIB:
– Heterogeneous type of dogs preferred by Blumen Couple:
– Even more heterogeneous type of dogs preferred by Mr. Alexandre Bacci:
And about you, my dear readers? What kind of FB (or “fila”) do you guys prefer?
Finally, I suggest that my dear Mrs. Blumen forget and leave Mrs. Kanap alone and stop trying to convince the FB and “fila-mestizos” breeders of the whole world that the cross breeding and the huge miscegenation in the Fila Brasileiro Breed did not exist, and still not exist; that this crime is not alone in charge of the enormous quantity of “fila-mestizos” pedigree in the CBKC-FCI squad and that it would only be an invention of CAFIB and Uncle Chico…
The statements of the existence of the crime of miscegenation against the FB made by the former president of BKC and CBKC, Mr. Henrique Pereira de Lucena (http://www.filabrasileirochicopeltier.com.br/11-Documentos-1984-ate/11_20a/materia.html ) and former FCI vice president, Mr. Christofer Habig, (in English https://filabrasileirochicopeltierblog.wordpress.com/2012/08/25/post-n-33-the-importance-of-chris-habig-sent-aug-24th-2012/ ) are too many and sufficient. After all to deny the cross breeding that was practiced and still exists against the True FB Breed and the rescue carried out by CAFIB is the same as claiming that Man not reached and landed into the Moon, that the Holocaust did not occur and that Elvis Presley did not die…
Ms. Blumen, miscegenation in the FB Breed is the biggest shame for FCI. As for all followers of the first FB crossbreeds of the Pure FB with English Mastiff, Neapolitan Mastiff and black Great Dane and also its first followers as Blumen Couple. Times are changing, and even faster. Do not deceive yourself and you can bet: the day is approaching when those responsible for this mega miscegenation will pay for this heavy account that has been hanging for 45 long years…
Note added in this English version: The worldwide dogs and clubs “authorities” and “leaders” must be very attentive and aware, because:
This procedure is responsibility of FCI and CBKC, being an attitude carried out illegally and criminal for many years, even though these organizations and their leaders / directors are aware of them. It was being executed as an INSTITUTIONAL and CONSTANT repetitive pattern. Just like the scandal that occurred in Russia Athletic Federation, before the Rio Olympics last year, as denounced by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) including the denunciation of the frequent support of Russian leaders / directors.
Final Note: I remind everyone that as I have been informing long time ago, I do not consider that I have any personal enemies in the sphere of the FB. In my understanding I have yes, opponents in thoughts and ideas. Of which I disagree with education and arguments. I always propose a public discussions to help form a serious, honest and truthful opinion about the PURE Fila Brasileiro breed and also about a correct destination for the “mestizo-filas”. Always helping to preserve the FB it in its racial purity. As it is clearly stated in the item “Article 2 – Objectives” of the FCI Statute which unfortunately is not respected by the FCI itself… (would you please read such Statute in http://www.fci.be/uploaded_files/97-2009-annex1-en.pdf . I always believe in the possibility of having a FB breeding united and unique, under the same flag and club, but far, very far from the miscegenation.
Very grateful to all of you.
Regards, Chico Peltier.
Note: as I have always done with all emails sent in the past, this was also sent primarily to those responsible for FCI + CBKC
Nota: como sempre fiz com todos os emails que enviei no passado, este também foi encaminhado primeiramente para os responsáveis pela FCI + CBKC
