Uncle Chico Newsletter # 53
An ALERT about my “Uncle Chico Newsletter # 52”
Unfortunately I have to return to one matter relating to “Uncle Chico Newsletter # 52”, because two CAFIB`s judges insisted too much with me, asking me to make a note stating a fact that seems more than obvious and therefore unnecessary to me. Anyway I’ll satisfy these two friends.
Thus, I inform you guys what I understand all CAFIB breeders, as well as other breeders from all others Fila`s Clubs, have known for decades: CAFIB never recommended the Fila TRAINING because we want the natural Fila temperament and nervous system naturally found in True Fila.
This seems to me so elementary that I really have not seen the slightest need to do this alert. However, as they asked me so much, I decided to satisfy them.
So, if Fada do Itanhandu is trained and perform a Temperament CAFIB Test this may indeed be detected and count negative points on your score sheet.
However, I think everyone who read my “Tio Chico Informa No. 52” with due attention and with no other intentions, understood very well that Fada received a hard Certificate given by an entity other than CAFIB and thus it follows their own Rules that are obviously different of CAFIB.
Finally, I reiterate my congratulations to Fada do Itanhandu, make my own the words of another CAFIB judge: “very few dogs of any breed would pass this tough test. It takes an excellent nervous system, a lot of courage and determination to do well in this test. I confess that I was very impressed with the Fada`s performance“.
After all, as everyone knows the Fila was formed by natural selection, and this is one of the reasons that CAFIB is against training for attack and temperament tests. The correct temperament, nervous system and dislike (“ojeriza”) to strangers are natural characteristics of the True Fila.
Really I never thought would need to emphasize this detail so elementary and known in the CAFIB Standard for more than 35 years, to be properly understood in such article I wrote.
So this here is my alert, though I understands it as totally unnecessary, only to satisfy two CAFIB`s judges and friends.
Note: as I have always done with all emails sent in the past, this was also sent primarily to those responsible for FCI (located in Belgium) + CBKC; and also to FCI (located in Spain)
Nota: como sempre fiz com todos os emails que enviei no passado, este também foi encaminhado primeiramente para os responsáveis pela FCI (da Bélgica) + CBKC; e para a FCI (da Espanha).
Best Regards, Chico Peltier.
